PRIDE GUIDE FINALE 2018

The culmination of Pride month is upon us and the city is buzzing with proud Torontonians and tourists from far and wide. Of course pride month has been happening since the beginning of June but as everyone knows, the real party is this Sunday with the extremely popular attraction, the pride parade.  Here's a list of Pride activities happening on the final weekend courtesy of the star.com . Time to plan your weekend party route! On Friday evening, the 2018 Trans March will begin at 8 p.m., with a rally beforehand at 7 p.m., at the intersection of Church and Hayden Sts. Friday night also sees the seventh year of BlackOut, a safe space and performance showcase for Black, African, Caribbean and multiracial youth, held by the organization BQY (Black Queer Youth) on the North Stage. There are so many great events taking place in Toronto this year that it'll be hard to choose which ones to attend, if you can't attend them all that is! In a city so diverse, welcoming and intriguing it would be hard NOT to explore it this summer. Which is why today, we're presenting  Edition One of our Must-Do Toronto Summer Events. P ride parade  When: June 22-24 The pinnacle of acceptance and equality, the annual Pride Weekend in Toronto promises to be the best yet. Street markets highlighting local artists, performance art, delectable food and the ever popular Pride Parade will reign supreme during this three day event. The parade will commence at 2pm on Sunday, June 24th with a special moment of silence at 3pm. Where: This year the parade route remains the same from church and Wellesley to Yonge/Dundas Square.

INSIDE OUT - WOMEN'S GALA EVENT

Honestly, there's no better place to live than Toronto ! The diversification, the culture, the nightlife! No matter the night or time of year a person can always find an activity or production to peak their interests. Last weekend was kind of a big deal for the LGTB community as the highly revered annual Inside Out Film Festival was back for its 11 day extravaganza. After two long decades the film festival is still going strong.  In 1991 the festival premiered to showcase diverse works and celebrate filmmakers interests in the LGTB community. They now show over 180 films from Canada and around the world, drawing crowds of over 35,000 large to participate in panel discussions, artists talks, fundraisers and parties.  This comes as annual Pride 2018 is set to begin June 1st in Toronto ending with the notoriously popular Pride Parade , now in it's 38th year June 24th.  But back to the party...  Saturday was all about the ladies as they held their annual Wo
