HOW LED HELPS OUR CHILDREN THRIVE
What a great week it's been so far! This September weather has been treating us well and our phones are already ringing with orders for some spooky and glowing Halloween parties in October!
Today we'd like to share something super special with everyone. Aura had the opportunity this week to donate some gently used glow balls to a local Toronto Daycare. It recently came to our attention that said school has been using a glow cube for educational interaction and and learning purposes and we thought that was really inspiring.
A huge thank you to all the teachers and educators out there who are so wholly committed to enriching our youth through knowledge. We salute you!
When we heard they were in the market for more we jumped at the chance! We were able to donate three of our smaller glow balls and hope to donate more in the near future.
"Although there are basic lighting standards all schools must meet, this study illustrates that children would benefit if schools were to provide optimal lighting based on the learning situation. With a targeted LED lighting scheme, schools can positively affect students in areas of attention, concentration, and behavior. LED lighting offers color temperature flexibility and output control that is superior to other lighting technologies and cash strapped schools can also benefit from reduced energy use and maintenance."

This study mentioned above proves that LED lighting definitely has positive effects on children and their ability to learn.
While Aura uses LED lights for outfitting our clients LED glow furniture and decor orders we are truly inspired to see this product being used to assist in molding and transforming the minds of tomorrow.
